    Hey,

    1) D fouls O receiver in endzone, uncontested, when does the disc become live? Is it tapped in and then the player can move towards the goal line, or should they first establish a pivot on the central zone and then tap the disc in? Mainly interested in when other players are allowed to start moving once possession is established.

    2) zone scenario, cutter moves in past the wall towards the disc. Can the single O player be guarded by two D players (specifically, two players from the wall) at the same time. I haven’t found anything that explicitly states an offensive player can only be guarded by one defensive player at a time. Would greatly appreciate it if someone knows which section this is covered under…

    Thanks

    Hi Nathan

    1) The thrower first establishes a pivot on the central zone and then the defence taps the disc in – all other players must remain still until the check. (NOTE: We are looking at changing this rule in the future to match the USAU Rule – tapped in and then players move to the goal line)

    2) The single O player can be guarded by two D players – there is no rule that prevents this – Double team only applies to the thrower.

    Cheers

Awesome, thanks Rueben. Glad to hear about the rule change, seems like the current interpretation advantages the offence quite a bit…
