Hi,
1: I’m not sure how the rules could be clearer than they are here!
4.5. After a goal is scored, and the game has not been won or half time has not been
reached:
4.5.1. the next point starts immediately;
20.5. After the start of a point and prior to the ensuing pull, a player from either team may
call a time-out. The time-out extends the time between the start of the point and
subsequent pull by two (2) minutes.
2: There is no specification about this in the rules. The appendix to the rules, for championship play, makes clear that the cap has no effect on the number of time-outs remaining. However, it is quite common for individual tournaments to have a policy on this which may be different – you will need to check the pre-tournament information. (Also, note that WFDF rules do not contain a ‘hard’ cap rule.)
3: No. This is a significant breach of the spirit of the game.
