Throw inside the endzone is allowed?!

This might be an oversight in the rules (and probably nitpicking):
As far as I know I‘m allowed to throw a disc from inside my attacking endzone as long as I respect 18.2.2.
14.3 defines that only if I end up with my pivot in the attacking endzone I have to walk back to the endzone line.

Should be added to the annotations imo. 🙂

I don’t see anything wrong with the rules..
If you score, you score (no pass possible). If you don’t score, you have to have your pivot point out of the endzone before passing.
You can have most of your body in the endzone as long as your foot is on the line… and make a pass from there.

Well, the rules don’t explicitly say that I can’t throw from inside the endzone. Only if I *end up* with my pivot behind the attacking endzone line, I have to go back.
So, an argument can be made that I can throw from inside the endzone while slowing down or having two additional ground contacts.

Oh, I see, you mean “throwing in motion / while running” but being in the endzone at this moment.
    Looks like you are right.
“Not establishing a pivot point” goes against the “not in” rule when throwing in motion with the new travel rule. 👍🏻
Could be fun to use it
