Self-injury when no time outs and no substitutions left

Imagine a tournament that is using current rules and current appendix.

A team has 7 players for a certain match. During one point, a player from that team is injured after a layout ( no interference from any other person). The team has no timeouts left, but also doesnt have substituting players.

The opposition is arguing that because the player injured himself they must take a timeout <but they cant> or substitution <they cant>

Do they have to continue with 6 players? Do they play as if a timeout had been called when there is no timeout left? ( ex adding 2 seconds to stall count)?

    Thanks

Under the WFDF Appendix, if a team does not have 7 players available for a point, then A7.3 from the Appendix would apply.
