    Hello!

I have a rookiei on my team that still doesn’t know the rules too well. An infracion was made on her and she didnt call it. I told her to call it and she did. The opposing team said each player has to make their own call and I cant tell her to make a call. However it is nowhere in the rules. SHE made the call I just told her to do it.

If you are the Captain, then there is definitely no issue being involved in the discussion.

If you had a good perspective on the play, then there is definitely no issue being involved in the discussion.

If you were not involved at all in the play, and not a captain, then it is not advisable to be involved, but depending on the level of play, it may be OK.

    Hope that helps

If you consider that a player may need assistance making calls during a game, then it should be discussed with said player and the opponent BEFORE the game starts.

The player/s should know and participate in the decision of how much you will intervene from outside, and your opponent must agree to it too.
