For a uncontested defensive indirect foul, does the stall count reset to 1 ? Or just restarts ( at maximum 6? )?

Scenario: Player M is guarding Player N. N tries to go upline to receive the disc at high stall count ( say Stalling 8 ) but was tripped by M. Both players agrees is an uncontested indirect foul. But what happens to both the players’ position and to the stall count ?

I assume you are saying it is an uncontested indirect foul by the M on defence?

In which case, if no pass was made, players go to where they were when the foul occurred (10.2.1) and the stall count goes to 1 (9.5.1).

Otherwise the continuation rule applies, and if the pass was completed, play continues. If the pass was not complete, the disc goes back to the thrower and players must return to where they were when the throw was made (10.2.2), unless 16.3 applies.

    Yes.

Thanks for clarification. I guess it wasn’t clear to me initially, but I guess all described Fouls in Rule 7 are treated as “breaches” as according to Rule 9.5.1 and 9.5.2 ?
