I’m assuming “take possession” and “establish possession” are synonymous. I think it would help readability/translatability to replace “take possession” with “establish possession” so only one verb is used to describe the same thing.

“take possession” currently appears only in the intro and 13.5 and 13.5.2:

[intro] Any time a pass is incomplete, a turnover occurs, and the other team shall take possession and attempt to score in the opposite end zone.

13.5. Any offensive player may take possession of the disc after a turnover, except…

13.5.2. after an offensive receiving foul, in which case the fouled player must take possession.

Good suggestion – will note it for next time.

What language are you translating into?

    Thank you!

I’m assisting with the Chinese translation.
