Meret, I fully agree with your interpretation of the rules. Sadly a majority of players in my region (Netherlands/Germany) keeps saying the opposite: “The poach has full vision, and the up-line cutter does not, so the poach is not allowed to move into the line of the up-line cutter, as that will cause the up-line cutter to run into the poach.” I keep having this discussion. So a small addendum “Watching the disc or play is not a valid reason to initiate contact” or similar would help me out there.
