I agree! Too often, when playing or game advising, I see a foul signal and then get confused about the outcome because it’s not always clear what type of foul it is. There are many different types of fouls, but I believe “strip” and “dangerous play” would benefit the most from having their own or additional hand signals.
For “strip,” we could use an open hand with the other hand brushing it (like the gesture for throwing money). Alternatively, if we prefer less movement, a fist-and-palm gesture could be used.
For “dangerous play,” we could have the arms in front of the player’s chest in the shape of an X, with closed hands.
I feel these would be easy for both players and game advisors to learn and follow.
